Speedway Records was originally founded in 1959. That makes this the 50th
Anniversary of Speedway Records. In 1997 we awoke as Speedway Records Inc. Eight years ago the label reincorporated as Speedway Records, LLC. The CD "Thunder Road" signals a major step to bring racing and music together.
Speedway Records, with Speedway Motorsports as its partner, has positioned
the label to create new ways of marketing music. The draw of NASCAR is
equal to marketing to the largest group of fans of the biggest bands ever.
Speedway Records will no longer be just racing music only. We will become
a place to get the music of many other artists. Speedway Records is teamed
with the people who own eight (8) racetracks, Speedway Motorsports. Speedway Records' idea is that large concerts can be done again with our two top promoters
from the past, Wallace Barr and Stephen Gudis, who both have 35 years experience
doing concerts. Woodstock
size crowds. a music experience for
this generation. Fewer shows and
less travel. Two (2) shows a
weekend, eight (8) weekends, sixteen
(16) shows. Atlanta, California,
Las-Vegas, Texas, Bristol, Kentucky,
New Hampshire, and Charlotte North
Carolina. We invite you and offer you our services.
