Concord, N. C. Nov. 12, 2001 Speedway Records executives confirmed today that the label is making plans now for future releases. It's truly a market niche that we have, since the only competing CD is a rehash of old material that can be found just about anywhere, stated a label executive.

Speedway Records has been in existence since 1959 and continues to maintain the direction of original race music that offers non offensive music dedicated to the race community. Original material only will be considered and present discussions with major superstar groups now are underway.

We will continue to operate from a grass roots approach that will remember the roots of racing. Racing began and is still focused on the fan. This will remain to be our focus along while propelling the art of original racing music, stated Wallace Barr, co-manager, Speedway Records LLC.
